      Our Instructors are very important to our organization.  They are the ones who are responsible for conducting day to day operations and to make sure everyone follows organizational rules and mandates
Our Instructors come from various professions and different martial arts back grounds.  we appreciate their commitment to excellence conducted on a daily basis, without question, to better serve the people of our organization, its satellite organizations, related businesses and organizational agendas.

Sahbumnim Nigel Seemungel 4th Dan black belt Kuk Mu Kwan of Brooklyn Kuk Mu Kwan.
Sahbumnim Nigel first started his training in Kung Fu as a child then Judo.  He served in th U.S. Marines in Panama and then in Iraq, in "Desert Storm".  After his military service he started his training in Kuk Mu Kwan, under Grand Master Hosun Kang, at Canarsie Do-Jang.  Sahbumnim Nigel has been the most loyal and dedicated disciple of Kuk Mu Kwan.  He is a person trainer to the stars, in New York.

Sahbumnim Rios has been studying Kuk Mu Kwan since a child.  He is a fast and powerful practitioner of Kuk Mu Kwan.  He is excellent in full contact fighting and Olympic style Taekwondo.  He is the grand son of Grand Master Colon of Quebredilla Kuk Mu Kwan.  Today, he is attending University of Mayaguez, majoring in mechanical engineering.

Sahbumnim Houston was the # 1 competitor in New York State then in the East coast.  Later she won gold at the Olympic style nationals in Ohio. The same year as the U.S. champion, she tried out for U.S. Olympic Team.  She came in 2nd to Lopez.  She competed all over the World as a resident U.S. athlete and then as a Navy veteran.  Today she resides in Texas with her husband and son, studying physical therapy.  


Sahbumnim Tom Gordon 3rd Dan black belt Kuk Mu Kwan.
Sahbumnim Gordon is a great technician and practitioner as well as a great instructor.
Today he runs self-defense program for New York State school system.

Sahbumnim Hector Salazar 2nd Dan black belt Kuk Mu Kwan of Brooklyn Kuk Mu Kwan.
Sahbumnim Hector started his training Taekwondo at the age of five.  He later studied Kempo and later he started
studying under Grand Master Hosun Kang.  He is a very powerful practitioner of Kuk Mu Kwan.  Sahbumnim Hector is
the assistant instructor at Brooklyn Kuk Mu Kwan Do-Jang, in Park Slope.  He is currently studying computer science

Sahbumnim Guillermo "Memo" 2nd Dan black belt Kuk Mu Kwan of Aguadilla Kuk Mu Kwan.
Sahbumnim Memo has been a tireless practitioner and competitor for Aguadilla Kuk Mu Kwan.  He is a loyal and 
dedicated martial artist.  He runs his own Kuk Mu Kwan club in Isabela Puerto Rico.

Sahbumnim Tom Caruso 4th Dan black belt Kuk Mu Kwan of Brooklyn Kuk Mu Kwan.
Sahbumnim Caruso has been studying Kuk Mu Kwan for the past twenty years.  He started training at our Flatbush location, under Grand Master Hosun Kang.  He has been a dedicated leader and an advocate for Kuk Mu Kwan from the very beginning.  He has trained Kuk mu Kwan's top fighters for over a decade.  He is a perfect example of loyalty and dedication to Kuk Mu Kwan and Kang family.

Sahbumnim first trained in ITF style Taekwondo, then later joined Kuk MU Kwan.

Sahbumnim Elliot R. Soto 2nd Dan black belt Kuk Mu Kwan of Arecibo Kuk Mu Kwan.
Sabumnim Soto began his studies in Kyokushin Karate under Master Antonio Vargas, founded by the late Grand Master Mas Oyama, where he obtained the rank of 2nd Dan.  In 2003, he began his career in Puerto Rico department
of education.  He is an expert airplane pilot and avid archery competitor.  Sahbumnim Soto was didqualified from air force pilot selection due to unknown medical condition.  In 2006 he began his studies in Kuk Mu Kwan under Master
Luis Rodriguez, at Arecibo Kuk Mu Kwan Do-Jang.  Sahbumnim Soto found a new family, after he and his father
stopped by Arecibo Do-Jang, after the passing of his mother and his father's wife, and found a new family there.
Curently Sahbumnim Soto is working on his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.

Sahbumnim Leslie Vargas 2nd Dan black belt Kuk Mu Kwan of Aguadilla Kuk Mu Kwan.
Sahbumnim Vargas has been a top rated Olympic style champion for many years.
Today he is Puerto Rico Champion in Olympic style Taekwondo, in his weight class.

Sahbumnim Brayan Rivera 2nd Dan black belt Kuk Mu Kwan of Arecibo Kuk Mu Kwan. (right)
Sahbumnim Rivera is a top MMA competitor in Puerto Rico and represents Arecibo Kuk Mu Kwan.

Sahbumnim Joe Deblasi of Brooklyn Kuk Mu Kwan.
Sahbumnim Deblasi is one of the first students at Canarsie Do-Jang.
He is a retired NYPD

Sahbumnim Deborah Grajales Perez 4th Dan black belt Kuk Mu Kwan of Aguadilla Kuk Mu Kwan.
Sahbumnim Deborah started training under her father, Master Ralph Grajales, at a very young age.  Just like her 
two brothers, she was the top competitor and champion in Puerto Rico for a long time.
